5月8日 Of Series and watu wa njengoHello hello,
I have just finished watching episode 21 of 24 Season 6 and damn it Jack Bauer. After Season 3 I told myself, enough I can’t take anymore of these ‘24’ thing, I’m not watching anymore! But three seasons later am still watching and still get caught up in it. I can’t believe season 6 is about to end. I wonder what Jack Bauer will be up to next.
Now am about to get confused, I mean I watch Lost, Prison Break, Heroes, Jericho, The Tudors, The Riches, not to forget Desperate Housewives and the list goes on and on. It’s a wonder I can keep them separate in my head. Anyway I hope I can get over this addiction soon.
Anyway away from that, I have to change my sleeping pattern for a while. See I sleep during the day coz it’s too noisy distracting or too hot to understand anything and read at night coz it’s nice and cool and quiet so I don’t get distracted by different thoughts, chores or things to do. However now, the house adjacent to the one I live in is being renovated. There is so much noise coming from all the construction going on there I can’t even explain. Watu wa mjengo are watu wa mjengo anywhere on earth I tell you. And they get there so early it hurts. I just hope they finish soon so that I can get back to my routine.

The weekend is over isnt it? What happened to my weekend? I want it back!!!!
So how was yours? Well i went for a Leadership and Stewardship Seminar this weekend so i hope i'm a better leader and steward.
I have an interesting week ahead....i have to finish my assignment because i have to join a different intake and their classes start soon. All these in the hope that i will finish my course earlier than December.
Other than that all my prayers go to all the family, relatives and friends of all the people and all the countries affected by the KQ plane crash in Cameroon. This is the second plane crash from the same airline and the same country. I hope Kenya Airways stops flying that route. I think its jinxed. West Africans have put juju on that route.Titus Naikunyi (MD-Kenya Airways) has a tough several weeks coming up so i hope he can handle.

 5月4日 FURAHI-DayI still get excited about Friday even if it doesn't make a difference to me here. In fact what it means is that now all my day classes begin. So why again do i get excited?
Today my friend Susan came to visit. She's like the only sane Kenyan in Malaysia. At least i can have intelligent conversation outside class. She was helping me with my Marketing assignment. I have to make a marketing plan for a Kenyan product and typically i picked....you guessed it KETEPA tea. LOL!
Generally the day turned out alright. It was nice to catch up with her coz we have been busy; me with exams and she with assignments. Now i have assignments and she has exams coming up. Sad really. We wont be able to spend lots of time together. She leaves Malaysia end of June. Meanwhile i have SEVEN more months here. Why is December so far? I will become a recluse when she leaves. More on this on a later blog.
Oh yeah my sister is now feeling much better, she thinks she was getting sick because of Man-U's bizarre performance the other night. I guess there are fans and then there are FANS!!! Some of us wer jumping up and down. LOL.

buonas noches  5月3日 NUM83RSWell today was back to work...and for me school.....of course it was hard going back after two days of not going. well it was especially hard coz i had to wake up to submit stuff that was already overdue. Sad part was it didnt really didnt matter!!!
anyway, thanks to my really nice housemate i not only know but also understand what Wesak day is. Thanks PeiLi.
My sister is sick. Problem is she is in Sudan. She will be lucky if she gets panadol. What is worrying is that she is one of those people who rarely gets sick but when she does....she REALLY does. Anyway i'm praying for the best for her.

Well for those who dont know Wesak is the Buddha was born! So Wesak Day is kinda like a new year for Buddhists. So since Malaysia wants to be fair to everyone they gave Buddhists a holiday to celebrate New Year!!! Malaysia Boleh!!!!
Well anyway, watched Wild Hogs last night. We were meant to watch it at 5.30pm but thanks to all Malaysians who dont want to go to their Kampungs the queues were from here to forever!!!! The funniest thing was that most were queueing to get tickets for Spiderman 3 which according to all the posters pasted all over was already sold out for the day!!!!!!Like i said Malaysia Boleh!!
Anyway back to the movie, it was funnier than i thought...its really a good laugh. If you haven't watched it and planning to go to the movies soon, please consider watching it. It light and easy. Its the perfect thing to a lazy afternoon...or evening.
My next target is Spiderman 3. It premiered in KL yesterday but i will wait a while so that i dont have to queue for hours like last evening. Then later at the end of the month...Shrek 3 Looking forward to that one too. (Raymond are you jealous yet?).
What did i do for Wesak Day you ask.....just bammed around replying emails and then later met up with a friend i havent seen in a while. Generally a quiet day.

I finally decided to do this Blog thing on my space...hey MS is giving it to me right might as well use it.
Today is May Day, tomorrow is Wesak Day so two holidays. I have no idea what Wesak is (and if anyone does please let me know).
I'm going for a movie with my 2 friends today at One Utama. 'Wild Hogs'. I have resisted watching that movie for so long now i actually wanna watch it. These guys must be using some kind of vodoo on me
 Anyway i hope i like it. and that the queues are not from here to eternity like is usual in Malaysia on a holiday but dont get me started on that one.Well you all enjoy yourselves today for all those Malaysians who are still on holiday.....Happy Wesak Day....(or whatever it is people are supposed to say on that day lah.
